LUPIMEG 500MG TABLET contains Imeglimin, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antidiabetic agents. It is used in the management of diabetes mellitus when diet and exercise fail to control blood glucose levels.
During management with LUPIMEG 500MG TABLET, your doctor will check your kidney function regularly because excretion of this drug may be delayed, and blood concentration may increase. LUPIMEG 500MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor before taking it.
LUPIMEG 500MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with moderate to severe kidney disease, severe ketosis, diabetic coma or diabetic precoma, type 1 diabetes, or a severe infection. Consult a doctor before taking it. The most common side effects of taking LUPIMEG 500MG TABLET are hypoglycemia symptoms, which include weakness, severe hunger, and sweating. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.

Directions of Use
Take LUPIMEG 500MG TABLET, preferably with meals or as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending on your age, body weight, and disease condition.
