Side effects

Stop taking Meftal DT 250mg Tablet and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following serious side effects:

  • Signs of an allergic reaction such as skin rash, itching, hives, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, or difficulty breathing.
  • Severe stomach pain, indigestion, heartburn, or signs of bleeding in the stomach or intestines (e.g., black, tarry stools, vomiting blood, or dark particles that look like coffee grounds).
  • New or worsening pain in the chest, weakness on one side of the body, or slurred speech, which could indicate a heart problem or stroke.
  • Severe skin reactions such as blistering, peeling, or a widespread rash.
  • Problems with kidney function, which may include changes in the amount of urine, swelling in the legs or ankles.
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), dark urine, or persistent nausea and vomiting, which can be signs of liver problems.
  • Unusual bleeding or bruising, such as nosebleeds, or blood in your urine.
  • Severe headache, stiff neck, fever, sensitivity to light, or confusion (signs of aseptic meningitis).
