Composition:
Methotrexate 2.5 mg
Description:
Methoquest-2.5 Tablet contains Methotrexate, a disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD) used to treat autoimmune diseases and certain types of cancers. It works by suppressing the immune system and slowing the growth of abnormal cells. The lower 2.5 mg dose allows precise dosing in chronic conditions requiring careful management.
Uses:
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis
- Juvenile idiopathic arthritis
- Certain types of cancer (e.g., leukemia, lymphoma)
- Other autoimmune conditions as prescribed
How to Use:
- Take the tablet exactly as prescribed, usually once a week
- Do not take daily unless specifically advised
- Swallow the tablet whole with water, preferably after food
- Follow the dosage schedule strictly to avoid serious side effects
