Composition:
Each tablet contains Oxcarbazepine 150 mg (in sustained release form).

Uses:

• Helps in controlling seizures (epilepsy).
• Used in treatment of partial seizures with or without secondary generalization.
• May also be prescribed for nerve pain in some cases.

How to Use:

• Take orally with water, usually once or twice daily as directed by doctor.
• Swallow whole, do not crush or chew sustained release tablets.
• Take at the same time daily for best results.

Side Effects:

• Drowsiness, dizziness, headache.
• Blurred vision, nausea, vomiting.
• Low sodium levels in blood (hyponatremia).
• Skin rashes in some patients.

Precautions:

• Use under strict medical supervision.
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine.
• Inform doctor if you have liver, kidney, or heart problems.
• Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised.
• Do not stop suddenly without doctor’s advice.
