Active Ingredients and Their Functions:

  • Montelukast: A leukotriene receptor antagonist that blocks substances called leukotrienes, reducing inflammation, nasal congestion, and airway constriction.

Uses:

  • Allergic Rhinitis: Eases symptoms such as sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, and itchy or watery eyes.

  • Allergic Skin Conditions: Addresses conditions like urticaria (hives), reducing redness, itching, and swelling.

Dosage and Administration:

  • Children (2 to 12 years): 5ml once daily.

  • Children (6 months to 2 years): 2.5ml once daily.

Administer the suspension at the same time each day, with or without food. Shake the bottle well before use and measure the dose with a proper measuring device.
