Give Montair LC Kid Tablet to your child at a fixed time before or after food, in the prescribed dose and as directed by the doctor. For asthma, it's often best given in the evening or 2 hours before physical activity. For allergy symptoms, it can be given in the morning or evening, depending on when symptoms typically appear. If your child experiences both asthma and allergy symptoms, the evening dose is often preferred. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking Montair LC Kid Tablet, give the same dose again. However, if it's already close to the time for the next scheduled dose, skip the repeated dose to avoid double dosing.
Your child may start to feel better after a few regular doses of Montair LC Kid Tablet. However, it's crucial to complete the entire prescribed course to ensure maximum benefit and prevent symptoms from worsening. Stopping the medicine abruptly may cause symptoms to return or worsen. This medicine may cause some minor and temporary side effects like vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, rash, and headache. These usually subside as your child's body adjusts to the medicine. If these side effects persist or cause significant discomfort, please consult your child's doctor without delay.
Always inform your child's doctor about any other medicines your child is currently taking. Provide a complete medical history, including any prior episodes of allergy, heart problems, blood disorders, vascular disorders, birth defects, airway obstruction, lung anomalies, skin disorders, liver impairment, or kidney malfunction. This information is vital for the doctor to adjust the dosage safely and plan your child's overall treatment with Montair LC Kid Tablet.
