MOXILONG 0.2MG TABLET contains Moxonidine which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-hypertensive agents. It is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension).
Hypertension (also known as high blood pressure) is a medical condition in which the force of the blood exerted against the walls of the arteries remains very high, and as a result it may lead to severe damage to the blood vessels supplying vital organs, such as heart, kidney or brain. If left unmanageed, it may cause serious complications such as heart attack, heart failure, stroke or even blindness.
Before taking MOXILONG 0.2MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any heart or kidney problems. It is not recommended for use in patients with severe heart problems (such as heart failure, heart block or slow heart rate). It is also not suitable for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women.
The most common side effects of taking MOXILONG 0.2MG TABLET are dry mouth, back pain, headache, weakness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and indigestion. Contact your doctor if any of these side effect worsens.

Directions of Use
Take MOXILONG 0.2MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicines with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. It can be taken with or without food.
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
Continue to take MOXILONG 0.2MG TABLET for the stipulated duration instructed by your doctor to achieve better results.
