MUCIDAY TABLET is a combination of Acebrophylline and Montelukast which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-asthmatic drugs. It is used in the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It can also be used to manage inflammation of the airways (such as bronchitis) and can provide relief from the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (nasal congestion, repeated sneezing, nasal itching or a red, watery, and itchy eyes) among asthmatic patients.

Before taking MUCIDAY TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have fits, stomach ulcers, viral infections, hypertension or hyperthyroidism as a precaution.

MUCIDAY TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women. It should be used in breastfeeding women only if it is considered necessary by the physician.

The most common side effects of taking MUCIDAY TABLET are epigastric pain, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache and respiratory tract infections. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects trouble you.

Directions of Use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Muciday Tablet SR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Side effects

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them
