MUCINAC AB TABLET is a combination of Acebrophylline and N-Acetylcysteine which belongs to the group of medicines called Bronchodilators and Mucolytics respectively. It is used in the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It can also be used to manage inflammation of the airways (such as bronchitis or cystic fibrosis) and reduce the onset of other complications caused due to mucus obstruction in the airways such as bronchospasm (paralysis of airways) and wheezing or shortness of breath.

Take MUCINAC AB TABLET preferably with meals or as advised by your physician. Before taking MUCINAC AB TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have fits, stomach ulcers, viral infections, hypertension or hyperthyroidism as a precaution.

MUCINAC AB TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and in breastfeeding women. The most common side effects of taking MUCINAC AB TABLET are epigastric pain, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, diarrhea and constipation. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects trouble you.

Directions of Use

Take MUCINAC AB TABLET preferably with meals or as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine.

Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

Do not stop taking MUCINAC AB TABLET once your symptoms subside without consulting your doctor.
