Mucolite 30mg Tablet, containing Ambroxol 30mg, is used to help manage acute and chronic respiratory tract diseases linked with abnormal bronchial secretions. This includes conditions like acute attacks of chronic bronchitis, asthmatic bronchitis, and bronchial asthma. Mucolite 30mg Tablet works by thinning the mucus in your airway passages, making it less sticky and easier to clear from your airways.

Do not use Mucolite 30mg Tablet if you have hereditary galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency (an enzyme needed to digest lactose), or problems with galactose absorption. Use Mucolite 30mg Tablet with caution if you are prone to developing peptic ulcers, or if you have or have had gastric ulceration. Severe skin reactions have been reported in some cases with medicines containing ambroxol. If you are pregnant, exercise usual precautions when using this medicine. It is generally not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy. If you are breastfeeding, Ambroxol 30mg is secreted into breast milk. While no adverse effects on the breast-fed baby are expected, it is advisable for breastfeeding mothers to avoid using Mucolite 30mg Tablet without consulting a doctor.

The most common side effects of taking Mucolite 30mg Tablet are changes in your sense of taste, numbness in the throat, nausea, or numbness in the mouth. If any of these symptoms worsen or persist, contact your doctor immediately.
