MUCOMIX 600MG TABLET contains Acetylcysteine, which belongs to the group of medicines called Mucolytics. It is used in adults to manage acute airway diseases such as bronchitis (inflammation of the mucous membrane in the airways), emphysema, mucoviscidosis (cystic fibrosis), and/or bronchiectasis (chronic widening of the airway passage).

MUCOMIX 600MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Acetylcysteine. It is also not recommended for use in patients with bronchial asthma. Before taking MUCOMIX 600MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have stomach ulcers, liver diseases (such as non-alcoholic fatty acid disease), or chronic kidney disease.

MUCOMIX 600MG TABLET should be used with caution by pregnant and breastfeeding women only if it is clearly necessary. This medicine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (below 18 years) and is advised to be used with caution in elderly patients (aged above 60 years) after consulting your doctor. The most common side effects of taking MUCOMIX 600MG TABLET are nausea and vomiting. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsen.

Directions of Use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mucomix Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Side effects

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them
