MYCEPT S 360MG TABLET contains Mycophenolate sodium which belongs to the group of medicines called Immunosuppressants. It is used to manage your body rejecting a transplanted organ (kidney). It is also given with other medications such as corticosteroids and ciclosporin.
During management with MYCEPT S 360MG TABLET, your doctor might advise you to take regular blood tests to check white blood cell count to assess immunity function of the body.
MYCEPT S 360MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you are allergic to mycophenolic acid, mycophenolate sodium, and mycophenolate mofetil.
It should be used with caution in patients with serious digestive problems (such as stomach ulcer), who are scheduled for vaccination, intolerance to certain sugars (such as lactose, galactose, or glucose), liver problems (such as history of hepatitis B or C), and severe kidney problems.
It is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. MYCEPT S 360MG TABLET is also not recommended for use in children and adolescents (below 18 years of age). Consult your doctor for advice.
It should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years and above). The most common side effects associated with the use of MYCEPT S 360MG TABLET are bloating, constipation, indigestion, high blood pressure, anxiety, diarrhoea, joint pain and dizziness. Consult your doctor if any of the symptoms worsens.

Directions of Use
Take MYCEPT S 360MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
