Contents:

• Metformin Hydrochloride 1000 mg (Prolonged Release)

Use:

• Helps control blood sugar levels in Type 2 Diabetes

• Also used in PCOS to improve insulin function

How to Use:

• Take once or twice daily with meals

• Swallow whole with water, do not crush or chew

Common Side Effects:

• Nausea or vomiting

• Stomach pain or gas

• Diarrhea

• Headache

• Loss of appetite

Precautions:

• Avoid alcohol

• Not safe in severe kidney or liver disease

• Use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding

• May reduce Vitamin B12 levels with long use

Warning:

• Rarely can cause lactic acidosis (serious side effect). Seek medical help if you feel weak, dizzy, have muscle pain, or trouble breathing.
