NAVIBROM EYE DROPS contains Bromfenac, which belongs to the group of medicines called Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is used in adults for the management of postoperative inflammation and reduction of postoperative eye pain in patients who have undergone cataract surgery.
Cataract can be defined as a condition in which the lens of the eye becomes progressively opaque or cloudy. Symptoms include blurred vision, sensitivity to light/glare, poor night vision, seeing halos around lights, and double vision.
NAVIBROM EYE DROPS should be used with caution in patients having bleeding problems (Ex. haemophilia), rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, or eye problems (Ex. dry eye syndrome, corneal problems, repeated eye surgery in a short time). Do not wear contact lenses while using the medicine.
NAVIBROM EYE DROPS should not be used during the last three months of pregnancy, and your doctor may advise you to use this medicine only if needed. It can be used in breast-feeding women.
NAVIBROM EYE DROPS is not recommended for use in children and adolescents. There is no evidence of safety for NAVIBROM EYE DROPS in elderly patients above 65 years of age. Consult your doctor before using it.
The most common side effects of using NAVIBROM EYE DROPS are increased sensitivity of eyes to light, eye pain, and blurred vision. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.
Uses:
- Manage postoperative inflammation and reduction of postoperative eye pain in patients who have undergone cataract surgery.
Directions of Use
Use NAVIBROM EYE DROPS as advised by your physician. While using NAVIBROM EYE DROPS, tilt your head back and pull down your lower eyelid. Make sure you wash your hands and do not touch any surface while using it. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight, and disease condition.
