Magnesium Bis-Glycinate is a magnesium salt of glycine helps in bone, muscle and activation of vitamin D, which helps to regulate the homeostasis of calcium and phosphate to influence the growth and maintenance of bones. Vitamin D metabolites stimulate the active absorption of calcium and phosphorus by the small intestine, thus elevating levels of serum calcium and phosphate sufficiently to permit bone mineralization.
