NOOTROPIL 1.2g TABLET contains Piracetam which belongs to the group of medicines known as Nootropics. It is used in the management of myoclonus of cortical origin in combination with other anti-myoclonic therapies. Myoclonus is a sudden, involuntary muscle jerk, shake or spasm that may be caused due to disturbance in the brain and nervous system.
Before taking NOOTROPIL 1.2g TABLET, inform your doctor if you have severe kidney disease and liver problems. Avoid consumption of alcohol during management with this medicine.
NOOTROPIL 1.2g TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women unless advised by the doctor.
NOOTROPIL 1.2g TABLET is not recommended for use in children (below 16 years of age). It should be taken with caution in elderly patients. Consult your doctor for advice.
The common side effects of taking NOOTROPIL 1.2g TABLET are restlessness, nervousness and weight gain. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.

Directions of Use
Take NOOTROPIL 1.2g TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of NOOTROPIL 1.2g TABLET for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
