NOVASTAT CV 10 CAPSULE is a combination medicine used to lower bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglyceride levels and reduce the risk of heart-related complications like heart attack, angina (chest pain), and stroke. It also limits the formation of harmful blood clots within the blood vessels which reduce the risk of atherosclerosis and other blood vessel problems.

NOVASTAT CV 10 CAPSULE can be taken with or without food, as directed by your doctor. For best results, take it consistently at the same time each day to maintain stable levels in your body. Follow the dosage and therapy duration as prescribed by your doctor, even if you start feeling better before completing the course. Incorporating lifestyle changes, such as a low-fat diet, regular exercise, and avoiding smoking, can enhance the effectiveness of this medication.

Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you have a history of liver or kidney problems, bleeding disorders, or if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Additionally, let your doctor know about any other medications you are taking, as they may interact with this treatment.

While taking this medicine, avoid alcohol consumption as it may increase liver-related side effects.

NOVASTAT CV 10 CAPSULE generally increases your tendency to bleed, and so if you cut or injure yourself, it may take a little longer for the bleeding to stop. Bleeding for minor injuries like small cuts or shaving is of no concern. 

However, if you experience excessive bleeding for a prolonged period, contact your doctor. The most common side effects of taking NOVASTAT CV 10 CAPSULE are headache, dizziness, nausea, stomach pain, muscle pain or increased bleeding tendency. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.

If you notice symptoms such as yellowing of the skin, muscle pain, or dark-colored urine, consult your doctor immediately. Regular liver function tests may also be recommended during treatment.
