NOVASTAT EZ 20 TABLET is a combination of Ezetimibe and Rosuvastatin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihyperlipidemic agents. It is used to reduce elevated blood lipid levels (hyperlipidemia) in addition to proper diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes.

By reducing lipid levels in the blood, NOVASTAT EZ 20 TABLET can also be used to manage the risk of heart attack, stroke, atherosclerosis and other circulatory disorders. Along with the management, avoid drinking large amount of alcohol to achieve better results.

Before taking NOVASTAT EZ 20 TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have thyroid problems, diabetes, high blood pressure or a family history of muscle disorders.

NOVASTAT EZ 20 TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver or kidney problems. It is also not suitable for use in patients with severe repetitive unexplained muscle pains or in patients who had recently taken an antibiotic called Fusidic acid to manage bacterial infections.

Do not take NOVASTAT EZ 20 TABLET if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Women of childbearing potential must use a suitable contraceptive method to avoid pregnancy while undergoing therapy with NOVASTAT EZ 20 TABLET.

The most common side effects of taking NOVASTAT EZ 20 TABLET are headache, constipation, bloating, muscle pain and liver problems. Consult your doctor if they bother you.
