Oflodoc IC Cream Clobetasol Propionate 0.05%, Itraconazole 1%, Ofloxacin 0.75%, Ornidazole 2%

Composition:

  • Clobetasol Propionate 0.05%
  • Itraconazole 1%
  • Ofloxacin 0.75%
  • Ornidazole 2%

Use:
Oflodoc IC Cream, containing Clobetasol Propionate, Itraconazole, Ofloxacin, and Ornidazole, is specifically formulated to treat a variety of skin infections caused by both bacteria and fungi. This effective topical medication helps manage conditions like ringworm, athlete’s foot, infected eczema, and dermatitis with secondary bacterial infection. It works to reduce redness, itching, and swelling while actively fighting the infection.

How It Works:

  • Clobetasol Propionate: A potent corticosteroid, it significantly reduces inflammation, redness, and itching associated with skin conditions.
  • Itraconazole: An antifungal agent that stops the growth of various fungi responsible for skin infections.
  • Ofloxacin: An antibiotic that effectively kills bacteria, preventing their spread and clearing bacterial skin infections.
  • Ornidazole: An antibiotic that targets and eliminates certain bacteria and protozoa, broadening the cream’s spectrum of action against mixed infections.

How to Use:

  • Clean and thoroughly dry the affected skin area before applying Oflodoc IC Cream.
  • Apply a thin, even layer of the cream to the infected area.
  • Use once or twice daily, or exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
  • Do not cover the treated area with bandages or airtight dressings unless specifically advised by a healthcare professional.
  • Avoid applying Oflodoc IC Cream to the face, eyes, or broken skin.

Side Effects:

  • Like all medications, Oflodoc IC Cream may cause some side effects, though not everyone experiences them. Common side effects at the application site may include:
  • Temporary burning, stinging, or redness.
  • With prolonged or extensive use, skin thinning or dryness may occur.
  • Rarely, severe allergic reactions (such as rash, itching/swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing) can happen. If you notice any serious side effects, stop using the cream and seek immediate medical attention.

Precautions:

  • For external use only.
  • Avoid long-term or large-area use without medical advice.
  • Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed.
  • Wash hands thoroughly after applying.
  • Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes.

  • Do not freeze.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
