It is used in children to manage bacterial infections of the eyes, ears, nose, throat, lungs, skin and urinary tract. Bacterial infections are generally characterized by fever, extreme tiredness, swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, groin or elsewhere, headache, nausea or vomiting.

Ofloxacin works by binding to and inhibiting bacterial enzymes required in DNA synthesis, thus interrupting DNA replication and managing bacterial cell multiplication.

Before using OFLOMAC FORTE ORAL SOLUTION, inform your doctor if you have any other conditions or if you are using or taking other medicines. It should be used cautiously in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose of OFLOMAC FORTE ORAL SOLUTION for your child depending on age, body weight and severity of infection.

The most common side effects of taking OFLOMAC FORTE ORAL SOLUTION are vomiting, nausea, stomach pain, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, headache, difficulty sleeping and dizziness. Contact your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.
