OLKEM TRIO 12.5MG TABLET is a combination of Chlorthalidone, Cilnidipine and Olmesartan which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihypertensive agents. It is used to manage essential hypertension.

Hypertension also known as high or raised blood pressure, is a condition in which the blood vessels have persistently raised pressure. Blood is carried from the heart to all parts of the body in the vessels. Each time the heart beats, it pumps blood into the vessels.

Blood pressure is created by the force of blood pushing against the walls of blood vessels (arteries) as it is pumped by the heart. The higher the pressure, the harder the heart has to pump.

During the course of management your doctor might regularly monitor your blood pressure, kidney function and electrolyte balance at regular intervals to avoid any untoward side effects.

OLKEM TRIO 12.5MG TABLET is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women as it may pass through the breastmilk to the baby. Consult your doctor for advice.

Safety and efficacy in pediatric patients is not established. Consult your doctor before taking. OLKEM TRIO 12.5MG TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients of 65 years and above. Consult your doctor for advice.

The most common side effects of taking OLKEM TRIO 12.5MG TABLET are dizziness, nausea, headache, constipation, fever, chills. Consult your doctor if the above-mentioned side effects persists for a longer duration.
