Olmepen-40 Tablet

Composition:

• Olmesartan Medoxomil 40 mg

Use:

• Used to lower high blood pressure (hypertension)
• Helps prevent heart attacks, strokes, and kidney problems

How It Works:

• Relaxes blood vessels so blood can flow more easily
• Belongs to a class of medicines called ARBs (Angiotensin II Receptor Blockers)

How to Take:

• Take 1 tablet once daily, with or without food
• Try to take at the same time each day
• Do not stop taking without doctor's advice

Common Side Effects:

• Dizziness or headache
• Feeling tired
• Stomach pain
• Cough (rare)

Precautions:

• Avoid alcohol
• Not recommended during pregnancy
• Tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems
• Drink enough water unless told otherwise
