Description:
Omnacortil Forte Syrup is a corticosteroid medication that contains Prednisolone as its active ingredient. It is primarily used to treat a variety of inflammatory, allergic, and autoimmune conditions. This syrup is prescribed for conditions such as asthma, severe allergies, arthritis, skin disorders, and certain respiratory diseases. It works by suppressing the immune system and reducing inflammation, providing relief from symptoms like swelling, redness, and itching.

- medicines used to manage high blood pressure (e.g. hydralazine)
- diuretics also known as water tablets (e.g. bendrofluazide)
- somatotropin (a growth hormone)
- anticoagulant medicines which thin the blood (e.g. warfarin and coumarin)
- aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. ibuprofen)
- methotrexate (anti-cancer management)
- acetazolamide (used for glaucoma and epilepsy)
- carbenoxolone (used in the management of stomach ulcers)
- medicines used to manage asthma (e.g. theophylline, bambuterol, fenoterol, formoterol, salbutamol and terbutaline)
