ORSL Plus Orange Drink belongs to oral rehydration salts (ORS) that are used to replenish water and essential electrolytes. It is also used to decrease stool output and vomiting. It contains electrolytes which are essential to maintain normal fluid balance in the body, taurine and vitamin C that play an important role in immune function.

It hydrates the body and replenishes the lost electrolytes during conditions which involve excessive fluid loss like loose motions or vomiting. ORS helps manage dehydration and reduces the need for hospitalization.

Dextrose or glucose facilitates the absorption of sodium and water in the small intestine. Sodium chloride and potassium chloride are needed as replacement of these essential ions during diarrhoea and vomiting. Sodium citrate corrects the excess acid levels that occur because of diarrhoea.

Taurine serves as an osmolyte and maintains osmoregulation (maintenance of constant osmotic pressure in the body fluids by controlling water and salt concentrations). Vitamin C is required for the body to develop and function properly.

Take ORSL Plus Orange Drink as advised by your physician. Shake well before use. It should be used with caution in patients with any kidney disease or severe dehydration.
