Carboxymethylcellulose 0.5% w/v
Osmolube Eye Drop is an ophthalmic solution formulated to provide relief from symptoms associated with dry eyes, such as burning, irritation, and discomfort.
Composition:
- Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium (0.5% w/v): A lubricant that mimics natural tears, providing moisture and protection to the eye's surface.
Uses:
- Dry Eye Relief: Provides temporary relief from burning, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eyes.
Dosage and Administration:
- Recommended Dose: Instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye(s) as needed or as directed by your healthcare provider.
- Administration: Wash your hands thoroughly before use. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination. Tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid, and instill the prescribed number of drops. Close your eyes gently for 2-3 minutes to allow the solution to spread evenly.
