PAN 40MG INJECTION is used to manage peptic ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) or reflux esophagitis and its associated symptoms such as acidity, heartburn, acid reflux and pain in swallowing. It contains Pantoprazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Proton pump inhibitors.  

During management with PAN 40MG INJECTION your doctor will closely monitor your kidney functions, liver functions and blood magnesium levels to avoid the risk of unwanted side effects. Before receiving PAN 40MG INJECTION inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have weak bones or any previous history of bleeding in the gut.

Consult your doctor before receiving PAN 40MG INJECTION if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The most common side effects of receiving PAN 40MG INJECTION is pain and inflammation at the site of injection. You must also inform your doctor immediately if you experience severe tiredness with abnormal muscle movements, dizziness, confusion, disorientation and irregular heartbeat after receiving PAN 40MG INJECTION, as it could be a sign of low magnesium levels in blood.
