Piza D Tablet is a medication used to effectively manage conditions like peptic ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and reflux esophagitis. It is a combination medicine containing Domperidone 10mg and Pantoprazole 40mg. Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, works by reducing the amount of acid produced in your stomach. Domperidone, a prokinetic drug, helps food move faster from your stomach to your intestines, which reduces symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and acid reflux. This dual action makes Piza D Tablet effective in relieving unpleasant digestive symptoms like nausea, vomiting, indigestion, burping, bloating, acidity, and heartburn.

For best results, take Piza D Tablet at least 15-30 minutes before meals. During your treatment with Piza D Tablet, your doctor may monitor your kidney function, liver function, and blood magnesium levels to prevent potential side effects. Before starting Piza D Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any existing liver, kidney, or heart conditions. It's also important to mention if you have any blockages or tears in your digestive tract, or if you have weak bones (osteoporosis).

Piza D Tablet is generally not recommended for patients experiencing bleeding from the gut. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking this medicine. Common side effects may include dry mouth, constipation, and flatulence. If these or any other side effects bother you, please consult your doctor. You should also seek immediate medical attention if you experience any signs of low magnesium levels, such as persistent tiredness, abnormal muscle movements, dizziness, confusion, disorientation, or an irregular heartbeat.
