For application, use Povifine 10% Advanced Solution 100ml directly or with sterile gauze on the affected area. Possible side effects include temporary skin staining or irritation. Directions of Use
To use Povifine 10% Advanced Solution 100ml:
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after handling the wound.
- Gently clean the affected skin area with clean water or a sterile saline solution to remove any dirt or debris.
- Apply a sufficient amount of Povifine 10% Advanced Solution 100ml directly to the wound or onto a sterile cotton swab or gauze.
- Ensure the entire affected area is covered with the solution.
- Allow the solution to air dry. You may then cover the wound with a sterile dressing if necessary.
- Repeat the application 1-3 times daily, or as advised by your healthcare professional.

Side effects
Like all medicines, Povifine 10% Advanced Solution 100ml can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common side effects include:
- Temporary brownish skin staining at the application site. This is normal and washes off easily.
- Mild skin irritation, redness, or a burning sensation.
Less common but more serious side effects (seek medical attention if they occur):
