PRAMIROL SR 1.05MG TABLET contains Pramipexole which belongs to the group of medicines called Dopamine agonists. It is used to manage signs and symptoms of idiopathic Parkinson's disease.
It is also prescribed to manage conditions such as Restless Legs Syndrome.
A disorder of the central nervous system that affects movement, often including tremors. Nerve cell damage in the brain causes dopamine levels to drop, leading to the symptoms of Parkinson's.
PRAMIROL SR 1.05MG TABLET should not be given in patients with kidney diseases and psychosis. PRAMIROL SR 1.05MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
This medicine is strictly for use in adults and should not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
The common side effects of taking PRAMIROL SR 1.05MG TABLET include sleepiness, dizziness, dyskinesia, nausea, hallucinations (seeing, hearing or feeling things that are not present), abnormal dreams, confusion, behavioural symptoms (Impulse control and compulsions), headache, double or blurred vision, low blood pressure, constipation, vomiting, swelling of body usually in the legs, decreased weight and appetite. Consult your doctor for advice if any of the above side effects worsen.

Directions of Use
Take PRAMIROL SR 1.05MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your physician will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
