PRAX 5MG TABLET contains Prasugrel which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiplatelet agents. It is used to manage blood clot formation in the body. It can also reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, angina (chest pain) and other circulatory problems among patients having heart block, stents in the heart or other heart-related complications.

Before taking PRAX 5MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems.  It is strictly not recommended for use in patients with severe liver problems or bleeding problems (internal bleeding conditions).

PRAX 5MG TABLET may make you bleed more easily even after minor cuts or injuries, and so be cautions while you perform even minor activities in your day-to-day life that involves risk of cuts or injuries (like shaving, playing, or handling sharp objects).

You must also inform your doctor if you recently met with any accident or have stomach ulcers, or scheduled for any upcoming surgeries as a precaution, as they could make you bleed more.

Inform your doctor before taking PRAX 5MG TABLET if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The most common side effects of taking PRAX 5MG TABLET are increased bleeding tendency, anemia, skin rashes and low RBC in blood. Consult your doctor if any of these side effect worsens.
