- Increased Bleeding Tendency: Due to the antiplatelet components (Aspirin and Clopidogrel), you may experience easy bruising, nosebleeds, or prolonged bleeding from cuts.
- Gastrointestinal Issues: Stomach upset, indigestion (dyspepsia), abdominal pain, nausea, or heartburn. In rare cases, more severe gastrointestinal bleeding can occur.
- Muscle Pain/Weakness (Myalgia): This is primarily associated with the Atorvastatin component. Report any unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness, especially if accompanied by fever or dark urine.
- Headache and Dizziness: These are generally mild and temporary.
Serious Side Effects (Seek immediate medical attention):
- Severe Bleeding: Any signs of significant bleeding such as black, tarry stools, blood in vomit, severe or unusual bruising, prolonged bleeding from wounds, or blood in urine.
- Allergic Reactions: Rash, itching, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, severe dizziness, or trouble breathing.
- Liver Problems: Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), dark urine, persistent nausea or vomiting, unusual fatigue, or severe stomach pain.
- Kidney Problems: Swelling in your ankles or feet, significant decrease in urine output.
- Severe Muscle Problems: Unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness, particularly if accompanied by fever or malaise (feeling unwell). This could be a sign of rhabdomyolysis, a rare but serious muscle condition.
