PROPYDERM NF CREAM is a combination of Clobetasol, Fusidic acid, and Clotrimazole which belong to a group of medicines called Topical Corticosteroids, Oral antistaphylococcal antibiotic, and Imidazoles respectively. PROPYDERM NF CREAM is used in the topical management of a wide variety of bacterial and fungal skin infections with associated inflammation in resistant and/or secondary bacterial infections.

A bacterial infection occurs when a bacteria enters the body, multiplies, and causes a reaction in the body that leads to infection, which is characterised by symptoms such as difficulty breathing, persistent cough and fever, unexplained redness and/or swelling of the skin, and frequent vomiting. A fungal infection is a skin disease caused by a fungus that leads to infection and is associated with symptoms such as irritation, scaly skin, redness, itching, and swelling.

Avoid applying PROPYDERM NF CREAM if you are allergic to Clobetasol, Fusidic acid, or Clotrimazole. Before applying PROPYDERM NF CREAM, inform your doctor if you are a smoker, have concomitant skin infections (parasitic infections), or plan to apply the medicine near the eyes.

PROPYDERM NF CREAM should be used with caution during pregnancy and in breastfeeding women only if it is necessary, which is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (below 12 years of age). The most common symptoms of applying PROPYDERM NF CREAM are a burning or stinging sensation and itchy skin. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms get worse.
