PROTERA I CAPSULE is a combination of Itopride and Pantoprazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Gastrokinetic agent and Proton pump inhibitors. It is used in the management of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease when monotherapy alone is not enough for some patients. PROTERA I CAPSULE also manages Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and stomach and duodenal ulcers.

Along with PROTERA I CAPSULE your doctor might want you to make some lifestyle changes such as having a balanced diet and exercising.

PROTERA I CAPSULE is not recommended for use in patients having gastrointestinal haemorrhage, obstruction, or perforation. Consult your doctor before taking.

PROTERA I CAPSULE should be used with caution in patients having severe liver disease, osteoporosis, cancer. PROTERA I CAPSULE should be used with caution in pregnant women and is contraindicated in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking.

PROTERA I CAPSULE is not recommended for use in children and adolescents below 12 years of age. Consult your doctor before taking.

The most common side effects of using PROTERA I CAPSULE are headache, nausea, vomiting, flatulence, joint pain, diarrhoea and dizziness. Contact your doctor if any of these side effects worsen or doesn't improve.
