RABIUM PLUS CAPSULE is a combination of Itopride and Rabeprazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Gastroprokinetic agent and Proton-pump inhibitors respectively. It is used to manage Gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) and Peptic ulcer disease.

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a digestive disorder that occurs when acidic stomach juices or food and fluids back up from the stomach into the oesophagus.

Peptic ulcers are open sores that develop on the inside lining of stomach and the upper portion of small intestine. Rarely, peptic ulcer may develop just above your stomach in your oesophagus. The most common symptom of a peptic ulcer is stomach pain.

Before taking this medicine inform your doctor if you have heart disease, liver disease or kidney disease. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctors before taking this medicine.

The most common side effects are stomach pain, headache, constipation, diarrhoea, dizziness, and rash. Consult your doctor if any of the above side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.
