RANX 500MG TABLET contains Ranolazine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antianginals. It is used to manage chronic angina.

Angina pectoris can be defined as a sudden, sharp and severe chest pain that originates from the apex of the heart and radiates to the left shoulder. It can be characterized by the presence of severe and crushing pain along with a feeling of pressure and suffocation, especially behind the breastbone.

RANX 500MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe kidney disease, moderate to severe liver disease. Contact your doctor before taking.

RANX 500MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease, mild liver disease and moderate to severe heart failure, abnormal ECG changes like like QT prolongation or long QT syndrome. Contact your doctor before taking.

RANX 500MG TABLET is generally not recommended for use in pregnant women unless considered clearly necessary. Contact your doctor before taking. RANX 500MG TABLET is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women as it is not known whether it may pass through the breast milk. Contact your doctor before taking it.

RANX 500MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Contact your doctor before taking.

RANX 500MG TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients aged 65 years or above. Contact your doctor before taking.

Avoid drinking grapefruit juice as it may lead to unwanted effects. The most common side effects of taking RANX 500MG TABLET are nausea, vomiting, constipation, dizziness headache and weakness. Contact your doctor if any of the above side effects worsen.
