RECLIMET XR TABLET is a combination of Gliclazide and Metformin, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antidiabetic agents. It is used in the management of diabetes mellitus when dietary measures, physical exercise, and weight loss alone are not sufficient to control blood glucose.
RECLIMET XR TABLET is not recommended for use if you have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, kidney disease, or liver failure. Consult your doctor before taking it. RECLIMET XR TABLET is not recommended for use during pregnancy or in breastfeeding women. RECLIMET XR TABLET is not recommended for use in children as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Consult your doctor before taking it.
The most common side effects of taking RECLIMET XR TABLET are nausea, diarrhea, gastric pain, constipation, vomiting, metallic taste in the mouth, rash, pruritus, urticaria, erythema, and flushing. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.

Directions of Use
Take RECLIMET XR TABLET, preferably just before meals, during meals, or as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending on your age, body weight, and disease condition.
