REFZIL O 125MG SUSPENSION is used in children for the management of bacterial infections such as bronchitis, respiratory tract infections (such as pneumonia), sinusitis, urinary tract infections, skin infections, ear infections, tonsils, throat infections, etc. It contains Cefprozil which is a cephalosporin antibiotic which works by killing the susceptible bacteria that causes the infection.
REFZIL O 125MG SUSPENSION should be used under careful medical supervision. It can be taken with or without meals. Do not skip doses or stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, even if your child feels better, as it could make the medicine less effective against complete eradication of the infections.
Before adminsitering REFZIL O 125MG SUSPENSION inform your doctor if your child is allergic to cephalosporin antibiotics, penicillins, cefdinir or similar medicines, have a previous history of developing severe diarrhea and stomach pain after taking antibiotics, is suffering from colitis or any kidney problems.
The most common side effects of taking REFZIL O 125MG SUSPENSION are nausea, vomiting, headache and dizziness. Consult your doctor if they trouble your child. Inform your doctor immediately if your child experiences severe stomach pain with blood diarrhea or fever, chills and flu-like symptoms after administering this medicine.

Directions of Use
Administer REFZIL O 125MG SUSPENSION to your child as advised by your physician. It can be taken with or without meals.
Shake the bottle well to loosen the dry powder. Add the sterile water provided with this pack up to the ring mark present on the bottle surface. Add extra water if required to adjust the volume up to the ring mark. Close the bottle tightly and shake the mixture well.
Measure and consume the reconstituted mixture as advised by your doctor. Store the reconstituted mixture in refrigerator.
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for your child depending upon your child's age, body weight and severity of the infection.
Do not stop using REFZIL O 125MG SUSPENSION once the symptoms subside. It is important to complete course of therapy with REFZIL O 125MG SUSPENSION to achieve better control over the infection.
