RELGIN 1MG contains Rasagiline which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti- Parkinsonian agents. It is used to manage signs and symptoms of Parkinson's disease in adults. It is also used together with or without levodopa. Parkinson's disease is a condition of the brain where there is a loss of cells that produce dopamine and it primarily affects the body movement. It is mainly characterized by symptoms such as shaking, muscle stiffness, slow and unsteady movement.

Avoid alcohol consumption while taking RELGIN 1MG as it increases the risk of side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, or sudden onset of sleep. RELGIN 1MG is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver disease. Before taking RELGIN 1MG, inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems, high blood pressure, skin cancer or if you smoke.

RELGIN 1MG is not recommended for use during pregnancy and it should be used with caution in breastfeeding women, so consult your doctor before taking it. RELGIN 1MG is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (less than 18 years of age). The most common side effects of taking RELGIN 1MG are involuntary movements, headache, stomach pain, allergy, fever, feeling generally unwell, neck pain and chest pain. Contact your physician if any of the symptoms worsen.
