The Rosuvas CV 20mg Tablet is a combination medicine containing Rosuvastatin 20mg+Clopidogrel 75mg. It is primarily used to help lower high levels of "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides in your body. This medication also helps reduce the risk of serious heart-related complications like heart attack, angina (chest pain), and stroke by limiting the formation of harmful blood clots within your blood vessels, which are often associated with conditions like atherosclerosis.

You should take Rosuvas CV 20mg Tablet with or without food, exactly as directed by your doctor. For the best results, try to take it at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level of the medication in your system. Always follow your doctor's prescribed dosage and complete the entire course of therapy, even if you begin to feel better. Adopting healthy lifestyle changes, such as a low-fat diet, regular exercise, and avoiding smoking, can significantly enhance the effectiveness of this treatment.

Before you start taking Rosuvas CV 20mg Tablet, it's important to inform your doctor if you have a history of liver or kidney problems, any bleeding disorders, or if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Also, ensure your doctor knows about all other medications you are currently taking, as some may interact with this treatment.

While undergoing treatment with this medicine, it is advisable to avoid alcohol consumption, as it may increase the risk of liver-related side effects.

Rosuvas CV 20mg Tablet may increase your tendency to bleed. Minor injuries like small cuts or nicks from shaving might take a little longer to stop bleeding, which is usually not a concern. However, if you experience unusually excessive or prolonged bleeding, please contact your doctor immediately. Common side effects associated with taking Rosuvas CV 20mg Tablet include headache, dizziness, nausea, stomach pain, muscle pain, or an increased tendency to bleed. If any of these side effects become bothersome or worsen, consult your doctor.

Seek immediate medical attention if you notice serious symptoms such as yellowing of the skin (jaundice), severe muscle pain, or dark-colored urine. Your doctor may also recommend regular liver function tests throughout your treatment to monitor your health.

Uses:

  1. Treatment of high cholesterol levels and elevated triglyceride levels in the blood.
  2. Prevention of blood clots and reduction of associated heart complications such as heart attack, stroke, and angina (chest pain).
  3. To help improve overall cardiovascular health in patients at risk due to high cholesterol and potential for clot formation.

Directions of Use

Always take Rosuvas CV 20mg Tablet exactly as your doctor has instructed. It is generally advised to take one tablet daily. You can take this medicine with or without food. To get the most benefit and maintain a consistent level of medication in your body, try to take your tablet at the same time each day.

Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet; swallow it whole with a glass of water. Do not stop taking Rosuvas CV 20mg Tablet without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better, as stopping suddenly can increase your risk of heart problems. Follow your doctor's advice on dosage and duration of treatment.
