RYTSTAT 100 TABLET contains Desidustat which belongs to the group of medicines called anti-anemics. It is used in the management of anemia associated with chronic kidney disease. It works by stimulating your body release a hormone called erythropoietin which regulates the synthesis of red blood cell (RBC) count in the body.

Studies have shown that desidustat is also helpful in restoring RBC count in patients suffering from COVID-2019 infections and chemotherapy induced anaemia.

RYTSTAT 100 TABLET should be used under proper medical supervision. Do not take RYTSTAT 100 TABLET if you are allergic to Desidustat or to any ingredients of this medicine. Consult your doctor before taking RYTSTAT 100 TABLET if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor about all your pre-existing disease conditions as a precaution before taking this medicine.

During management with RYTSTAT 100 TABLET, your doctor recommends several blood tests and regularly monitor the levels of electrolytes such as potassium, hemoglobin, and blood cells in your blood to analyze the improvements in your health condition.

The most common side effects of taking RYTSTAT 100 TABLET are abdominal pain, vomiting, headache, fever, weakness, and peripheral edema. Consult your doctor if these side effect does not resolve on its own.
