Salsooth FL (50/250) Inhaler

Composition:
Each actuation contains:

• Salmeterol 50 mcg (a long-acting bronchodilator)
• Fluticasone Propionate 250 mcg (a corticosteroid)

Uses:
Salsooth FL (50/250) is used for asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps in relaxing the airway muscles and reducing inflammation in the lungs, making breathing easier.

How It Works:

• Salmeterol relaxes the muscles of the airways and prevents symptoms like wheezing, shortness of breath, and tight chest.
• Fluticasone reduces swelling, mucus production, and inflammation in the lungs to improve long-term breathing control.

Directions for Use:

• Use the inhaler exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Usually used twice daily (morning and evening).
• Rinse mouth after use to prevent fungal infections.

Common Side Effects:

• Hoarseness of voice
• Throat irritation
• Cough or dry mouth
• Headache
• Oral thrush (fungal infection)

Precautions:

• Not for sudden asthma attacks (not a rescue inhaler)
• Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, tuberculosis, or eye problems like glaucoma
• Avoid sudden stopping; dosage should be gradually reduced if discontinuing
