Salsooth FL (50/500) Inhaler

Composition:
Each actuation contains:

• Salmeterol 50 mcg – a long-acting bronchodilator
• Fluticasone Propionate 500 mcg – a corticosteroid (anti-inflammatory medicine)

Uses:
Salsooth FL (50/500) is used to prevent and control asthma and moderate to severe COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). It improves breathing by relaxing the airways and reducing inflammation inside the lungs.

How It Works:

• Salmeterol helps open the air passages in the lungs by relaxing the muscles, providing long-term relief from breathing difficulties.
• Fluticasone helps reduce inflammation, swelling, and mucus formation in the lungs, preventing asthma attacks and flare-ups of COPD.

Directions for Use:

• Use exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually twice daily (morning and evening).
• Inhale deeply with each puff.
• Rinse your mouth after use to avoid throat infection (oral thrush).
• Do not use during sudden breathing attacks (not a rescue inhaler).

Common Side Effects:

• Dry throat or mouth
• Hoarseness or voice changes
• Headache
• Cough or throat irritation
• Oral thrush (fungal infection in the mouth)

Precautions:

• Not suitable for sudden asthma attacks
• Inform your doctor if you have tuberculosis, heart disease, diabetes, or eye conditions like glaucoma
• Regular monitoring may be needed for long-term use
• Do not stop using suddenly without doctor’s advice

Storage Instructions:

• Store below 25°C, in a dry place away from heat and sunlight
• Keep the cap tightly closed after use
• Keep away from children
