SEFDIN 300MG CAPSULE is used in the management of severe forms of bacterial infections such as Community acquired pneumonia, Acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, Uncomplicated skin & skin structure infection, Pharyngitis, tonsillitis and sinusitis and Ear infections (such as Otitis media). It contains Cefdinir which is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by killing the susceptible bacteria that causes infections.

Take SEFDIN 300MG CAPSULE as advised by your physician. It can be taken with or without meals. Do not skip doses or stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better, as it could make the medicine less effective against complete eradication of the infections.

Before taking SEFDIN 300MG CAPSULE inform your doctor if you are allergic to cephalosporin antibiotics, penicillins, cefdinir or similar medicines, have a previous history of developing severe diarrhea and stomach pain after taking antibiotics, are suffering from colitis, kidney problems, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

The most common side effects of taking SEFDIN 300MG CAPSULE are mild diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, headache and dizziness. Consult your doctor if they trouble you. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience severe stomach pain with blood diarrhea or fever, chills and flu-like symptoms after taking this medicine.
