SILOFAST 8MG CAPSULE contains Silodosin, which belongs to the group of medicines called Alpha-blockers. It is indicated for the management of signs and symptoms of Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adults only.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), also called prostate gland enlargement, is a common condition. An enlarged prostate gland can cause uncomfortable urinary symptoms, such as blocking the flow of urine out of the bladder. It can also cause bladder, urinary tract, or kidney problems.

Your doctor might want you to take some diagnostic tests before starting with the management. Before taking SILOFAST 8MG CAPSULE, inform your doctor if you have severe liver disease, kidney disease, are undergoing cataract surgery, or have ever fainted or felt dizzy.

SILOFAST 8MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use in women, children, or adolescents under 18 years of age.

The most common side effects of using SILOFAST 8MG CAPSULE are abnormal ejaculation, dizziness, blocked or runny nose, and diarrhea. Consult with your doctor if any of these side effects worsen or do not improve.
