Composition:
Each tablet contains Sitagliptin Phosphate equivalent to Sitagliptin 50 mg.

Uses:

• Used to manage Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
• Helps lower blood sugar levels
• Can be used alone or along with other antidiabetic medicines (like Metformin, Sulfonylureas, or Insulin)

How It Works:
Sitagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor. It increases levels of natural hormones (incretins) that promote insulin release and reduce glucose production in the liver — helping control blood sugar, especially after meals.

Dosage:
As directed by the physician. Usually taken once daily, with or without food.

Common Side Effects:

• Headache
• Upper respiratory infection
• Stomach discomfort
• Low blood sugar (more likely if taken with other diabetic medicines)

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with kidney problems
• Not recommended in Type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis
• Monitor blood glucose levels regularly
