SMUTH CAPSULE is a combination of Calcium dobesilate and Docusate sodium which belongs to the group of medicines called Vasoprotectives and Laxatives respectively. It is used in the management of constipation (difficulty and less frequent bowel movements), also helps patients with piles (hemorrhoids) for easy passage of stool.

During management with this medicine your doctor may advise you to follow lifestyle modifications like having a fiber-rich diet, increase fluid intake and regular exercise will help you.

Before taking SMUTH CAPSULE inform your doctor if you have stomach pain, nausea, blocked bowels, intolerant to certain sugar (such as fructose), kidney or liver problems. Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking SMUTH CAPSULE.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking SMUTH CAPSULE. SMUTH CAPSULE is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. This medicine may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and rash. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.
