SOFINOX CREAM contains fusidic acid which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used in the management of bacterial skin infections such as impetigo (crusty patchy skin), infected dermatitis (inflamed skin with spots), infected cuts, and grazes in affected individuals.
SOFINOX CREAM is not recommended for use in patients allergic to fusidic acid.
SOFINOX CREAM should be used with caution in pregnant and breast-feeding women which is also used with caution in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years). It is also advised to be used with caution in elderly patients (aged above 65 years) after consulting the doctor.
The most common side effects of applying SOFINOX CREAM are feeling pain, and/or burning sensation at the site of application. Consult your doctor if the symptoms worsen.

Directions of Use
Always apply SOFINOX CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash your hands before applying the medicine. Rub the medicine gently on the skin. Avoid touching your eyes if the medicine is to be applied on the face. Wash your hands after use and recap the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
