SPARACID O MINT FLAVOUR SUSPENSION is a combination of Oxetacaine and Sucralfate which belongs to the group of medicines called Anesthetic Antacids and Ulcer Protectives respectively. It is used to manage stomach ulcers, acidity and heartburn. It can also be used to manage inflammation of gut caused due to other reasons apart from ulcer (such as H. pylori infection).

SPARACID O MINT FLAVOUR SUSPENSION should be taken at least 1 hour before meals. Along with the management, eat simple foods and avoid consumption of alcohol. Do not take other antacid medications along with SPARACID O MINT FLAVOUR SUSPENSION without consulting your doctor as it may reduce the effectiveness of this medicine.

Before taking SPARACID O MINT FLAVOUR SUSPENSION inform your doctor if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid problems or liver problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have any blockage or obstruction in the gut or having delayed gastric emptying due to any gut surgery.

SPARACID O MINT FLAVOUR SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in patients with severe kidney problems. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

The most common side effect of taking SPARACID O MINT FLAVOUR SUSPENSION is constipation. Consult your doctor if this symptom troubles you.
