STARPRESS 3D 50/12.5 TABLET contains Chlorthalidone, Telmisartan and Metoprolol which belong to the group of medicines called Antihypertensives. It is used to manage essential hypertension with stable coronary artery disease. High blood pressure that is not caused by any other condition is called essential hypertension.

Symptoms of essential hypertension include early morning headaches, nosebleeds, an irregular heartbeat, vision changes, buzzing in the ears, fatigue (feeling overtired), nausea, vomiting, confusion, anxiety, chest pain, and muscle tremors (shakiness). Stable coronary artery disease is characterised by chest pain, discomfort, tightness, and pressure and is caused by any blockage in the blood vessels of the heart caused by physical exertion.

STARPRESS 3D 50/12.5 TABLET should be used with caution in patients suffering from liver, kidney, or heart disease.STARPRESS 3D 50/12.5 TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant women, if you think you might become pregnant, or in breastfeeding women.

STARPRESS 3D 50/12.5 TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents up to the age of 18 years, and it should be used with caution in elderly patients aged 65 years and above. The common side effects of taking STARPRESS 3D 50/12.5 TABLET are low blood pressure, diarrhoea, constipation, tiredness, headache, dizziness, and sleepiness. Consult your doctor if the symptom worsens.
