TACVIDO FORTE ORAL GEL contains Tacrolimus which belongs to the group of medicines called Immunosuppressants. It is used to manage oral lichen planus.

Oral lichen planus is a chronic autoimmune disease that cause severe inflammation of the mucosal membranes present inside the mouth. It is characterized by appearance of white, painful thickened patches on tongue, lips and/or cheeks, inflammation of the gums oral irritation, sensitivity to hot and spicy food, red, swollen tissues with open pores or burning sensation and bleeding from the gums.

Apply the required quantity of TACVIDO FORTE ORAL GEL on the damaged tissues of the oral cavity. It is for oral topical use only. Do not rinse your mouth or drink water or any other fluids for at least 30 minutes after applying TACVIDO FORTE ORAL GEL. Do not swallow the medicine. Try not to remove TACVIDO FORTE ORAL GEL with your tongue.

Before using TACVIDO FORTE ORAL GEL inform your doctor if you have pre-existing disease conditions such as autoimmune disease or skin disorders. You must also inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems.

Do not use TACVIDO FORTE ORAL GEL if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without consulting your doctor. TACVIDO FORTE ORAL GEL is not suitable for use in children aged below 18 years.

The most common side effects of using TACVIDO FORTE ORAL GEL is burning sensation at the application site. Consult your doctor if this side effect bothers you.
